You Rock!

For Christmas Jon got the game Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii, and we've been playing it with Jeff and Noah and the family. Last Saturday was a guitar marathon for the boys, and even though Eli didn't play or even watch much, he apparently picked up on the phrase the game uses - "You rock!"

I went on an afternoon shopping/returning trip and when I came home the first thing Eli said to me was, "Mommy you rock! While I was gone Eli had first told Noah, "Noah, you rock," after he finished a song, and then started getting everyone in on the rocking action. At dinner that night Eli went around the table and told everyone, individually, that "you rock!" Everyone thought it was the funniest when he said, "Grandma, you rock!" What's really cute is that it usually is accompanied by a little fist pump in to the air to emphasize the word "rock." Our son the little headbanger. Aww. :) Eli, you rock!
