The dresser's on its way, hooray!

Our dresser is coming! Our dresser is coming!

I’m so relieved and excited!! We ordered our dresser almost 10 weeks ago and they told us the order would take 8-14 weeks (which, of course, I heard as 8 weeks, hehe). Last weekend I was complaining to Jon that I was just now comprehending that the “14 weeks” part of the 8-14 weeks could mean that our dresser would arrive AFTER the baby! And then I wouldn’t be able to put all the tiny little clothes into the dresser until after Elijah was here. Nuts. Mommy not happy. So I prayed about it (and asked my mom if it was silly to pray about a dresser – she thought it was fine by the way).

Well, lo and behold we get a call on Monday that our dresser is here and we just have to call to arrange pick-up! Happy, happy, happy! Jon and his brother Jeremy are going to pick up the dresser tonight! And my parents are coming to visit for the weekend which means that tomorrow my Mom and I get to put the clothes in the drawers! I can’t wait!!
